About TAFES

Is a national and interdenominational Christian ministry, serving students in Universities and Colleges. It is the Fellowship of students and graduates all over Tanzania and Diaspora who have come together regardless of their denominational affiliations to reach students with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as per great commission Matthew 28: 20, "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..." In this case students are the primary members and focus of TAFES, under the motto "REACHING STUDENTS TRANSFORMING LIVES".

To be a national movement reaching every student in all Universities and Colleges in Tanzania with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

To Equip University and College students with the Scripture in Evangelism, Discipleship and Leadership Development thereby transforming the Campus, Church and the Society.

Our Core values

We are Evangelical:

TAFES is a bible believing Fellowship. The Bible is our standard & final authority in all matters of faith & conduct

We are Interdenominational and Non-denominational

TAFES membership cut across various denominations and hence provide common forum for worship. All members subscribe to TAFES doctrinal basis of faith. As a nondenominational Fellowship, TAFES is not a denomination and do not align to any particular denomination. However TAFES recognizes and identify with the local churches and serve them by reaching out to students while they are on campus.

We are student-centred:

We operate primarily in tertiary institutions and we are committed to students' initiative and leadership based on biblical principles.

We are passionate about the unity of believers

As a result of our interdenominational and nondenominational status, we provide the forum where believers from different denominations interact and relate as members of the universal Church - the body of Christ.

We advocate the practices of excellence and integrity:

We aimed at ensuring that students are academically good and that they are of Godly character with Christ as their role model. Through this virtue, these students become associates who will honour God through their lifestyles in bigger society.
